NCGG does not provide clerical support to Visiting Fellows. Where needed, Jennifer Bolton can help you locate appropriate resources and equipment.
Office Supplies
SPIA provides basic office supplies such as pens, legal pads, staples, stationery, etc. You can find supplies in the SPIA Facilities office, in the lower level of Robertson Hall. Please check with Jennifer before purchasing your own supplies, as the University has negotiated rates with vendors, including Amazon (see Research Account: Expense Guidelines) and it will be less expensive for NCGG to purchase the items on your behalf and charge your research account directly.
Kitchen Facilities
The 4th Floor kitchen is provided for your use . Appliances include a microwave, toaster, Nepresso and coffee machine. The refrigerator is available for use, and is cleaned out regularly. For the benefit of everyone, we ask that you clean up thoroughly after using the kitchen. You have a key to the kitchen, and if the door is locked when you enter, please lock it when you leave.
Conference Rooms
There are several conference rooms on the 4th floor, including 402 Robertson, which we use frequently but is not exclusive. There are signs posted daily when the rooms are in use. If a room is empty, you may use it - but be prepared for a possible eviction if an unposted event is scheduled. If you would like to reserve or check the availability of a conference room, ask Jennifer.
Photocopying
There are two Cannon networked color printers on the 4th floor. To connect to TigerPrint, visit: https://princeton.service-now.com/service?id=kb_article&sys_id=KB0013757. (You can also contact the SPIA Help Desk for assistance.)
There is a group mailbox on the 4th floor. Amazon purchases are delivered there, along with any official university correspondence.
Emergencies
In the event of an fire alarm or other emergency, exit the building via the stairs, and go to Scudder Plaza (by the fountain).
To report an emergency, dial 911 from your desk or cell phone.
We suggest downloading the TigerSafe app. The app includes emergency alerts, tools for staying safe on campus, emergency response guides, campus maps and a variety of health and wellness resources.
